a family farm
My family and I have lived at Borough Farm for 6 years now. Having grown up in the area, I had often admired Borough farm for its fine views. Over the years we have restored the farmhouse, tidied the barns and created gardens and wildlife areas. We stocked the farm with animals.
We farm organically on our 18 acres and have available to guests free range organic eggs from our rare breed chickens and seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden. Lifton farm shop is an award winning shop just 5 min. away by car which sells, bread, meat, fruit and veg and also offers a restaurant.
We have a growing flock of Devon Longwool sheep - with 6 lambs born this spring. We also have 3 native ponies. Merry legs our Dartmoor pony and two connemara ponies, Murphy and Power. These ponies can be available for kind children to ride by arrangement either in the fields or the sand school.
