Travelling to Borough Farm by public transport

There are excellent rail links from both London Paddington and London Waterloo to Exeter St Davids and from there to the newly opened station at Okehampton. There are then options from Okehampton or Exeter, book a taxi, hire a car or take a bus, the closest bus route is to Lifton, our local village, just five minutes from the farm.

Alternatively take the train further into Devon to Plymouth, where you can take a bus to Tavistock, then easily get a taxi, or take the train to Gunnislake and get a taxi to us at Borough Farm from there.

From the East – Exeter, Bristol and beyond ……..

Take the M5 to Exeter and then follow the A30 past Okehampton and Sourton to Lifton. Exit the A30 at Lifton, you will pass our local farm shop – Lifton Strawberry Fields on your left, continue through the village of Lifton passing the Arundell Hotel on your left. At the bottom of the hill after passing over a bridge take a right turn to Chillaton/industrial estate, continue over a small bridge and you will see a house straight in front of you, bear left and follow the road up the hill for a few miles, do not turn off this road, the road levels out before dropping down a hill before the final ascent to a crossway signposted to Kelly, that is Borough Cross. Do not turn here, but continue along the same road for 50 metres more and Borough Farm entrance will be on the left through black iron gates.

Proceed past the house and bear left into the farm yard where you will find the parking areas. Further instructions will be posted at the reception door. To orientate yourselves to the farm before you arrive have a look at the farm map above.

Please do not rely on your satellite navigation to find us or you will end up in Kelly village which is not where we are located! Around ten properties share the postcode and they are widely spread in this rural area .

From Cornwall to the west

Take the A30 past Launceston, exit at the Lifton junction and turn right, follow signs towards Lifton village, then follow the instructions as above.
