Covid Update from Devon Yurt
By now we had all really hoped that we could finally ease off a little regarding the Corona virus and look forward with confidence to next season, however, scientists and medics are indicating that the Corona Virus is going to be with us for a while, as such, we wish to update you on our plans for next season. Devon Yurt and The Granary B and B will open again in Spring next year in time for Easter 2021. This year, we have proved to our b and b guests that we are serious about their safety and our own by following the air bnb 5 step enhanced cleaning process . We have also qualified for the Good To Go scheme offered by Visit Britain. Both of these systems are in place to remind us of the need for utmost care and thoroughness in the cleaning regimes we follow here at Devon Yurt. In addition to these cleaning processes, we will continue to rotate games, books and soft furnishings between guests. Our linen will be laundered at higher temperatures, We will have earlier check out times and later check in times to give properties a chance to rest and to be cleaned at a deeper level. We will continue to have hand washing stations on hand for each of our accommodation units on arrival at the farm. We will have separate shopping stations for each yurt with colour coded log baskets etc.
This past season we have had a lot of interest from guests wanting to book all three units in order to have exclusive use of the facilities available on the farm – We will be promoting this option in the new year and feel this booking opportunity will give our guests the maximum amount of reassurance.
We are very proud of what we offer here at Devon Yurt, our facilities naturally lend themselves to social distancing and indeed our guests holiday spending time in large in the fresh air so we couldn’t be more ideally placed for offering a holiday where our guests can rest assured that they will taken great care of.
We look forward to seeing our guests here at the farm next year and in the meantime if there are any questions, then please do get in touch. https://www.devonyurt.co.uk
