We have just been informed that we have been selected, alongside four other glamping businesses in the South`West as a finalist in the regional tourism excellence awards.  There were over 773 entires from across the region which included Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Bath, Bristol, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Devon Yurt are delighted to have been selected as one of the hundred tourism businesses to be invited to a black tie dinner at Exeter Cathedral on the 6th of February where the awards will be announced and presented. 

The Initial Judging for the awards is based on the information contained in the entry form,  along with your website, social media and third party sites, judges then look at the online presence, your promotion of the area your business is in, how your business is viewed on different media and your accessibility, online reputation and reviews. Further judging is then carried out on site.

Devon Yurt,  will receive either a Gold, Silver or Bronze award.  In 2019, we received a Bronze South West Tourism Award. Those businesses that do well in the regional South West Tourism Awards will be selected to represent the South West in the national Visit England awards.
