It is nearly Halloween and we are busy harvesting the delicious pumpkins and squash that we have been growing.   They not only look amazing,  but they taste amazing too,  fed up with the normal pumpkin seeds,  I was despatched to the chelsea flower show to search for tasty pumpkin seeds.  This is what they grew into !   We have been enjoying pumpkin soup and roasted squash with garlic.  Yum Yum.  Many a child has come through the gardens here at Borough Farm this week to select their pumpkin ready for school carving competitions,  they will make excellent lanterns for the halloween table !
