Spring Lambs at Devon Yurt
Well you can only imagine what happened between then and now, that lovely ewe went on to have a super ewe lamb, followed by another ewe having a ram lamb later in the day, then, a few days later came twin ewe lambs on the same day that the lovely Tom Dixon of canopy and stars came to inspect our site. Then we ran into May bank holiday weekend and both yurts were full for the weekend, all girl guests which was really unusual. The toyal baby arrived on Saturday afternoon, again a girl, followed shortly by our ewe having twin ewe lambs – then to finish off on the Sunday, our youngest ewe lambed a little ewe lamb – what a perfect girlie weekend.
Now, just over a week later, we have eight healthy lambs, all out at night now, some with a run in shelter. It is now 7 in the morning and I am preparing a milk bottle for out teeny tiny lamb whos mum has no milk for her, she is fed every three hours or so during the day and she is one very hungry bunny in the morning – but oh sooooo sweet !
